Largest bittern. Cryptic plumage blends well with reeds. Tawny-brown face and neck , Blackish cap and moustachial stripe, Streaked upperparts. Greenish yellow legs. Stocky, stealthy and Usually overlooked. Habitat : tall reedbeds and grasslands near marshes and paddy field.
