A rare resident in tall Dry grasslands and bushes in Kerala. Distinctly identified by its thick orange orbital ring and yellow iris. Rufous-brown wings and upperparts. pure white throat and breast merges to buffish underparts .Beak is dark and lores are white. Legs are yellow in colour. Chiefly insectivorous.
